When Scott Diamond and his Brazilian fiancée Patrizia Mendes planned their wedding he told her since she was a “princess” they should marry at a castle. Patrizia’s other love, truffles, made Italy a perfect spot, and Castello Lemmo Rossi Scotti in Perugia was the choice medieval castle for their “royal” vows. The magical wedding with majestic colors of burgundy and gold took place on the grounds with a cocktail hour in the garden and patio during sunset. The 83 guests stayed in a quaint town, Gubbio, that added to the allure. They honeymooned in Siena and drove through the beautiful Tuscany area. Parents of the couple, Robert and Joyce Diamond and Alex and Marilda Zendrini, felt the amore.
