2018 Global 6K for Water
Join the fight for global access to clean water by running or walking in World Vision’s Global 6K for Water. 6 kilometers is the average distance that people in the developing world walk for water - water that is often contaminated with life-threatening diseases. On Saturday, May 19, 2018, thousands of participants from around the world, and in your city, will run or walk to help World Vision continue a mission that has already given 4.6 million people improved water access.
Each participant's registration fee provides life-changing clean water for one person, so when you participate in the Global 6K for Water you take that 6K distance away from people in need. When you register, World Vision will send you a 6K t-shirt, race bib with a photo of the child you are walking and running for, and even a medal in the mail.
