Cajun commotion

Council member and longtime West University resident Bob Higley (pictured, at left)  enjoyed the band (pictured, right) Bayou Roux’s Cajun music at the Party on the Patio. The lineup over the summer also included West University’s own variety-hit band, Dee Dee & Mike and the Moondance Band. The concert series took place at Colonial Park Pool, benefitting Friends of West University Place Parks. Neighbors spread out blankets and set up lawn chairs to enjoy evenings of music and fun. The summer concert series also included Cool Beans and The Fab Five.
