Getting ready for school
The Junior League of Houston, Inc. sponsored the annual Childspree, benefiting Child Advocates. More than 80 JLH volunteers assisted nearly 100 kids at the Target Central store to shop for back-to-school supplies before the store opened to the public for the day. Volunteers helped the children, who are in foster care, select clothing and accompanied them and their guardians to a breakfast party. Kids also received backpacks full of school supplies.
