Sweet Potato Fries with Asian Dipping Sauce

Sauce:
⅓ cup rice wine vinegar
¼ cup soy sauce
1 Tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon peeled and finely grated ginger
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
Fries:
1½ pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 3-inch lengths, about ½-inch thick
2 Tablespoons canola or vegetable oil
½ teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
½ teaspoon coarse salt
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil; set aside. Whisk together the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. In a large bowl, toss the sweet potatoes with the oil, five-spice powder and salt. Place the sweet potatoes on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until tender and browned, turning once. Serve the fries warm on a platter with the Asian Dipping Sauce.
