Brendan Gilbert, whose job took him to Dubai for 18 months, was welcomed back with love on the tennis court by his wife Jenna Jackson. Despite the rain, friends played tennis at the Houston Racquet Club with drinks and food at the courtside bar at Court 35. Happy hour and dinner ended with a custom tennis cake by Three Brothers Bakery – Memorial. Brendan played in Dubai at a tennis club where Roger Federer trains, and although he loved the place and instructors he missed Friday nights at the HRC. Head pro Thomas Cook and wife Nathalie, Tiffany and Randall Wong, Dr. Roberto and Tiziana Velasco, Lindsey and Scott Gilley, and Christine and Jay Sherman joined the ball of fun.
