Hunt for hope
Hunt for Hope is an adventurous scavenger hunt designed to raise funding for and awareness about inflammatory breast cancer. Events have been held throughout the United States. The third Alligator’s Hunt for Hope Adventure in Houston will take place Feb. 24; participants will meet at the West University Community Building and Senior Center. The event spotlights Houstonian Carter Lee – affectionately known as “Alligator” – who was diagnosed with IBC six years ago. Proceeds will fund IBC research at MD Anderson. The winners of last year’s event are (pictured, from left) Andrew Waldrip, Terry Arnold, Carter Lee, Casey Marlin and (in back) Austin Marlin. See huntforhopehouston.org.
