42nd International Watermedia Exhibition Opening Reception

The 42nd Annual International Watermedia Exhibition will highlight the artistic excellence of its global participants in a gallery exhibit held in the Museum District. Andy Evansen is the Juror and Instructor. The  Houston community is invited to discover what it is about watercolor painting that inspired Winslow Homer and John Singer Sargent to pursue and elevate to artistic status such a humble medium as watercolor. See in person some of the best artists of today in the watermedia arena and become acquainted with the Homers and Sargents of tomorrow.  

Artist awards and opening reception takes place Sun., March 3, 3:30-5:30 p.m. The exhibit runs through April 4.
