Maggie Rose Kobos
Hi. My name is Maggie Rose Kobos. I’m a “therapy dog.” That means I have spent a lot of time with my owners learning commands so I can make people I meet feel good. The training I went through took several weeks. It was tiring but fun. I qualified to be an AKC-certified therapy dog, and now I’m a member of a group called Faithful Paws. When I visit people in nursing homes, students at schools or sick children at hospitals, I want to make everyone smile and feel better. I like being rubbed or brushed; it feels good. Before exams last fall, I went to the Rice University library where students were studying for their tests. The students really loved petting me. I liked it too. When I’m not making visits, I go to “doggie day out” and run and play with my brother Brady and my friends.
