Daring to show up
The Jung Center’s 2019 Spring Benefit, Dare To Show Up, raised a record-breaking $350,000. More than 500 gathered to honor Terry Huffington and hear Brené Brown speak. Dorothy and Malcolm Paterson and Lourdes Hernandez and Randy Hulet chaired. Brown discussed her newest No. 1 New York Times bestseller Dare to Lead while praising Huffington for her contributions to the community and The Jung Center for offering Houstonians a place to find insight, meaning, and transformative conversation. The Jung Center’s Mind Body Spirit Institute (MBSI) offers programs that reduce stress and anxiety, improve health, and nourish the human spirit.
