More than 500 gathered for Congregation Beth Yeshurun’s dinner theater event, the Best of Broadway, chaired by Alice Small and Judy Yambra, musically arranged by Cantor Meir Finkelstein and produced by Lorraine Horwitz and Bruce Stein. Courtney Zubowski-Haas hosted the evening, which was coordinated by Jennifer Sutton. Performing to a packed house was Becker KB, Rebecca Bloome, Emily Finkelstein, Alicia Gianni, Nava Smith-Litvack, Jordan Sheldon, Bruce Stein, Julia Strug and the Zamranim Choir – Bailey Goldstein, Emery Goldstein, Matthew Grosman, Orly Kammerman, Laren Michelman, Haley Nagger, Tova Staller and Sophia Winard, led by Dora Lee Grinberg. The band included Brian Granquist, David Goldstein, Greg Sherman, Cindy Walls, Mike Wheeler and Woody Witt. Bruce Stein brought down the house by singing his own version of "If I Were a Rich Man" from Fiddler on the Roof. Proceeds went toward the synagogue.
