Duke Leight, age 5

Greetings. My name is Duke Leight. You may recognize me by my recent stint as the month of May in the Snowshoe Cats 2018 calendar. As a typical Snowshoe Siamese, my favorite activity is playing fetch – I’m quite the athlete. I’m also a loyal member of the Leight family and have two sister Snowshoes, ages 2 and 21. I love to meet new people, dogs or cats, and get along well with them. I was abandoned in a business complex as a kitten. A rescue organization found me and adopted me out to my mother, whose father has been a veterinarian in Houston for 48 years. We are blessed to have him available anytime we need him. I love snuggling, and I reveal my true feelings by the way my ears and tail respond. I make everyone around me smile, and people like my symmetrical markings. Perhaps my best trait is that I’m friendly. Hope to meet you soon.
