The Texas Renaissance Festival

Welcome to the Kingdom of The Texas Renaissance Festival, where an encounter with an enchanted fairy, pirate or mythical creature is expected as you interact with the cast of characters, take in a show at one of the 19 stages, choose your team during the joust, dine on a flavorful food that you fancy, test your gaming skills, brave a ride or shop to your heart's desire. The 2019 Texas Renaissance Festival is held every Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 5-Dec. 1 plus the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Themed weekends include Oktoberfest, 1001 Dreams, Pirate Adventure, All Hallows Eve, Return to the Renaissance, Heroes and Villains, Barbarian Invasion, Highland Fling and Celtic Christmas 

The Festival opens each day with the sounding of the village cannon at 9 a.m. and closes each evening at 8 p.m. with the Royal Fireworks. If you arrive early, you can join the fun as the King and Queen welcome their guests outside the village gates at 8:45 a.m.
