Pershing pride
The Pershing Middle School cheerleaders (pictured) showed their school spirit at a football game against Meyerland Middle School. Lily Badgwell, Emily Vaughan, Haeden Thomas, Layla Jackson, Madeline Spielman and Alaeja Rodriguez (pictured, from left) are part of the squad of seventh and eighth grade girls. In addition to cheering at football games, they have also cheered at pep rallies, and they will be courtside at basketball games. Pershing has had a successful fall season in many sports, and the cheerleaders are proud to support each of them, including a currently undefeated football team, a tournament-champ volleyball team, and a cross country team that medaled in all district events.
