Mardi Gras! Galveston, weekend two
The festivities continue this weekend in Galveston. Look forward to the Bowling for Soup concert on Friday, Knights of Momus Grand Night Parade on Saturday, and Family Gras, Krewe of Barkus and Meoux Pet Parade on Sunday. On the Trail
Little cowboys and cowgirls are invited to get in the rodeo spirit by learning about horse cultures around the world at this interactive, educational event on Saturday and Sunday at Memorial City Mall.
Arti Gras
Holler Brewing, located in the Sawyer Yards neighborhood, is hosting an art show on Sunday featuring a diverse selection of mediums by local artists. The whole family is invited for art, music and crafts. Look forward to face painting, a make-a-mask station and jewelry making.
5th Annual f.r.e.s.h. Gumbo Cook Off & Silent Auction
Join Houston Food Bank’s f.r.e.s.h Young Professionals for the 5th Annual f.r.e.s.h. Gumbo Cook Off & Silent Auction on Saturday at Wicklow Heights. This delicious competition tests the culinary skills of local teams while supporting the Houston Food Bank.
4th annual Mardi Gras Pub Crawl on Washington Ave.
If you can’t make it out to Galveston to celebrate Mardi Gras, head over to Washington Ave on Saturday. Check in at Fuego’s Saloon starting at 3 p.m. and hop around bars in the area. 21+
