Lucy, age 8

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lucy, and I would love to meet you! I am a wonderful mix of Golden Retriever and German Shepherd, and I love all people and all dogs. In January, I took a road trip from St. Louis to Houston, and I decided to relocate to the great state of Texas. It was nice in St. Louis, but if you’ve ever visited there in winter, you’re aware that January is a good time to head to the sunny south. I’ve been in Houston almost two months, and my family’s training is coming along very nicely. I am so pleased with their progress. They’ve learned that I’m not interested in fetching tennis balls, and I don’t care about chew toys.  However, I do love to “tunnel” through people’s legs, and I’m always ready for a walk or a ride in the car!
