My tail is wagging to tell you I’m a three-time rescue named PJ. Although none of my owners know the meaning of my name, I know God’s purpose for me is to give Protection and Joy. Peggy rescued me first to keep her company until she passed away. Then, her sister Rosemary moved downstairs to sleep on the sofa near me, since she didn’t want me taking the stairs with my occasional arthritis. When Rosemary needed to move into assisted living, God assigned me to their neighbor Ann, a recent widow. As a Schnauzer mix, I am very fierce to protect her from other dogs when we take walks. However, I serve as a big brother to her two girl cats. We all get along – I really enjoy eating my sisters’ Fancy Feast!
