Bellaire High School student staffers of the yearbook, Carillon, and newspaper, Three Penny Press, earned 21 Individual Achievement Awards from the Interscholastic League Press Conference. In addition, the 2019 Carillon won the highest possible award, the Distinguished Merit rating, and received a Bronze Star. Carillon staffers who placed included Anthony Chen, Jin Park, Eunice Bao, Reagan Kimzey, Allison Clarke, Declan Donnelly, Skye Waterland, Daniel Yuan and Thy Tran. Three Penny Press staffers who placed included Adam Remels, Adele Wren, Anna Trevino, Anne Greene, Joseph Mazella, Zoe George, Adam Remels, Mizuki Kai, Ishani Shethia and Ashlyn Martin.
