Cycling for a cause

Friends and avid bikers Taylor Brown and Sean Cunningham (pictured, from left) rode their bikes for 100 miles in circles around West U Elementary. Taylor wanted to raise funds for the Houston Food Bank, so he called Sean and explained that 100 miles around the school would equal 150 laps. Sean agreed to the challenge and Taylor set up a fundraising page with a goal of $2,500. It took nearly nine hours for the two to ride 100 miles. Children Eleanor, Henry and Grant Brown and Cate, Linley and Margaret Cunningham joined them for some laps, and so did Taylor’s father-in-law, Dick Elwood, and friends David Lintner and Jose Nolla.
