Keep up their stick skills
The lacrosse season may have been cut short, but Macyn and Morgan Tannery (pictured, from left) aren’t slowing down. In addition to running drills together, the siblings do 100 rebounds every day, with each hand, against the side of a building in the lacrosse-practice staple known as wall ball. Morgan, a sixth grader at The Kinkaid School, and Macyn, a fifth grader at River Oaks Baptist School, both play on Houston Youth Lacrosse (HYLAX) club teams. They both play attack, and their teams had played many games before the season ended. Speed runs in the family, and Morgan and Macyn use it to their advantage to run down the field for a pass or to take a shot. They hope to be back on the field soon to put their practice to work.
