Hawke

My name is Hawke, and I’m also known as The Hawkester and Hawkey. I am named after the Chicago Blackhawks, my Daddy’s favorite NHL team. I am a rescue that was found in the EADO neighborhood. A.D.O.R.E Houston, a rescue organization, found an amazing home for me with Denise and Todd in Bellaire. I think I'm about 2½ years old, and the DNA test says I am a mix between mini poodle and sporting/herding terrier. I am so lucky we have a huge backyard for me to run around in, and I love chasing the geckos on our patio. Mommy and Daddy say I am fast and agile, and my trainer at Canine Country Club says I am a “chasee” because I love to be chased! Mommy and Daddy’s friends say I have a happy spirit and light up the room. I believe it’s because I am so loved.
