Mask on
Patrick Tsang, a seventh grader at St. John's, has been using his 3D printer and laser-engraving skills to produce a number of Covid-friendly creations. He donates the money he earns to the Houston Food Bank. Patrick’s face mask keeper consists of a premium paracord, break-away safety connector, and a name tag and push button adjuster. The idea is to help the mask fit better and be more comfortable while letting people safely store their masks (hanging around their necks) while eating. In March, Patrick started making ear savers, providing comfort for medical workers. He has created and donated over 2,000 ear savers to date. In addition, he creates and sells mask strap extenders, name tags for face shields, and signs like #MaskOn.
