The Blue Bird Circle Virtual Celebration, "New Beginnings"
Meet the ever-present Dr. Peter Hotez, the internationally recognized physician-scientist and our keynote speaker. He will discuss “Vaccine Diplomacy in the 21st Century.”
“New Beginnings” is a virtual celebration of The Blue Bird Circle, whose mission is “to provide hope, love, and healing to children with neurological disorders”. Many Houstonians know about The Blue Bird Circle Resale Shop on Alabama Street. But few know that The Blue Bird Circle provides financial support for research in pediatric neurology at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine. Remarkable breakthroughs are being made in childhood neurological diseases. Through cutting edge research, critical breakthroughs in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders may one day lead to cures for several childhood neurological diseases.
Other featured guests will talk about the impact that The Blue Bird Circle has made in the lives of children affected by neurological disorders, including Clifford Fry, Ph.D., Associate Director of the Hagler Institute at Texas A&M University; Debra Sukin, Ph.D., CEO Houston Methodist Hospital at The Woodlands; Mark Wallace, President and CEO of Texas Children’s Hospital; Susan Wedelich, Senior VP at Westwood Wealth Management; and Huda Zoghbi, M.D., Director, Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute.
More special guests will be joining and you will not be disappointed!
Your donation to The Blue Bird Circle helps to support the on-going research in pediatric neurology.
