Boo Drive-Thru in Bellaire
The Boo Drive-Thru, hosted by Bellaire Parks and Recreation, was a spooktacular success. From 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. yesterday afternoon, hundreds of guests came to celebrate Halloween in a COVID-friendly way.
Visitors were asked to stay in their cars, but that did not put a damper on the fun. As they drove into the parking lot, guests were greeted by student musicians from School of Rock West U and a cast of characters including Anna and Kristoff from Frozen, the witches from the Wizard of Oz, and many more.
The Library, City Manager’s Office, Parks & Rec, and the Police and Fire departments passed out goodie bags and greeted residents as they drove through the Recreation Center parking lot. There was no shortage of candy and Halloween happiness!
