Friends on the field

Opponents and friends celebrate after a fun game on the baseball field. Ryan Sarvarian, Luke Bell, JoJo Decuir, Timothy Wilson, Santiago Gunn, and Wells Christian (pictured, from left) are all second graders at St. Cecilia Catholic School. Traditionally, St. Cecilia has had one SBMSA baseball team in this age group, but this year there are so many St. Cecilia boys playing baseball that they created two teams, the Blue Jays and the Reds. The boys fought hard playing against each other during the SBMSA midget division pre-season tournament and then got back together as friends to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. Both the Blue Jays and the Reds are having great seasons and are each headed to the second round of the playoffs.
