The Nutcracker Market, offering home décor, gifts, food, apparel, toys, and accessories, signals the kickoff to the holiday season for many Houstonians. Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the 2021 market – “The Redo” – will be held Nov. 11-14 at NRG Center. Proceeds from tickets, plus 11 percent of purchased merchandise, go to the Houston Ballet Foundation. The 2021 market is chaired by Mignon Gill, longtime Houston Ballet Guild and Nutcracker Market committee member. The committee has more than 120 volunteers, many of whom have served for more than 20 years. Pictured, at River Oaks Country Club, are committee members at a kickoff coffee event hosted by Gill.
