Bridging the gap
Alex Haug, a senior at St. Francis Episcopal School, completed his Boy Scout Eagle Project by rebuilding the bridge that connects the school to Buffalo Bayou. Alex, student body president, is a member of the founding class of the new upper school. Last year, Alex noticed the bridge was falling apart, and, because students and faculty often use the bayou for projects, he decided to take on the repair as his Eagle Project. Alex is a member of Troop 641, Chapelwood United Methodist Church.
