Astroworld Fest
Astroworld Festival, curated by Houston native Travis Scott, takes place at NRG Friday- and Saturday following a series of events leading up to the sold-out music festival. The lineup includes Young Thug, Tame Impala, Bad Bunny, SZA, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, Baby Keem, Earth, Wind & Fire, Don Toliver, Master P, 21 Savage, Toro y Moi, BIA, Chief Keef, and more. Party at the Pavilion
This Friday, enjoy a night with family and friends outside in the Bellaire Town Square listening to the Cajun rock sounds of Bayou Roux. This event is free and open to the public.
Movie Under the Stars: Goodwill Hunting
Head to Market Square Park on Friday night at 8 p.m. for a free showing of Goodwill Hunting. Bring your blanket and lawn chairs. This event is free and open to the public.
Miracle League All-Star Game
Houston YMCA and Miracle League will host their third annual Miracle League All-Star Game for youth and adults with disabilities this weekend at the Langham Creek Family YMCA. The public is invited to attend and cheer for the players at this free event.
MD Anderson's Boot Walk to End Cancer
Register to walk MD Anderson’s Boot Walk to End Cancer this Saturday. This year’s event is virtual, so sign up here and participate in your very own neighborhood.

Houston Rockets Dog Walk
Bring your four-legged friends to Hermann Park on Saturday morning for a scenic walk around McGovern Lake, the Jones Reflection Pool, and other areas of the park. After the walk, enjoy music, snacks, and all things Houston Rockets in Lake Plaza. This event is $30 if you pre-register and $60 on the day of the event. Registration includes a t-shirt for the owner, doggie item, entry to the post-walk party, and one ticket to a Houston Rockets game.
Ann and Stephen Kaufman 2021 Jewish Book & Arts Festival
The 2021 Jewish Book & Arts Festival opens on Saturday with Ira Rosen and continues through Nov. 16. The festival includes a star-studded lineup of authors and books. There will be several ways for attendees to experience the events (in-person and virtual options). View the full lineup here.

On Saturday night at Miller Outdoor Theatre, Texas Folklife presents the 32nd annual Accordion Kings & Queens, featuring accordion music genres like conjunto, polka, zydeco, and Cajun. This event is free and open to the public.
Heartmade Harvest Art Market
At Market Square Park on Sunday, Heartmade Harvest, an open-air market featuring local artisans and crafters, will be open at 10 a.m. This event is free and open to the public.
Texas Medical Center Orchestra Concert presents The Healing Power of Music
The Texas Medical Center Orchestra will return to the stage for the first time since after CovidOVID, hoping to spread healing and encourage optimism. This concert, consisting of uplifting classical works, is set to perform this Sunday at the Hobby Center. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $15 for students.
