Eagle Scout Project
Reynolds Delgado, a sophomore football player at Lamar High School, recently completed his Eagle Project benefitting Hermann Park Conservancy. He designed a purple martin habitat for the Whistlestop Prairie area of Hermann Park. He assembled 16 plastic gourds attached to a base that can be raised and lowered for cleaning. Boy Scout Troop 266, which meets weekly at West U United Methodist Church, helped him install it.
