Event Roundup: What to Look Forward to This Weekend

Happy Friday! It’s the first full weekend of 2022 and there’s lots of fun happening around town, including: 

the SALE  
Houston Tri Delta Alumnae presents the SALE, a unique, two-day shopping event that features Houston's premier boutiques all at one location with discounted merchandise. Proceeds benefit pediatric cancer research at Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Centers. the SALE 2022 is located at the Bayou City Event Center and takes place Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. 

Sugar Land Holiday Lights  
Sugar Land Holiday Lights at Constellation Field wraps up this weekend. Saturday is the last chance to view the impressive light shows.  

13th Annual BowiElvis Fest at The Continental Club  
Celebrate two music legends - David Bowie and Elvis Presley - on their shared birthday this Saturday starting at 6 p.m. at The Continental Club. The festivities include live music, face painting, a costume contest, and more at the 13th Annual BowiElvis Fest at The Continental Club.

Zoo Lights  
Sunday is the last night to view this year’s Zoo Lights display at the Houston Zoo, a beloved Houston holiday tradition. 

Houston Rockets
The Rockets take on the Dallas Mavericks at Toyota Center on Friday, 7 p.m. Friday is Bill Worrell Night at the game, honoring the voice of the Rockets across several decades. On Sunday, the Rockets take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. Sunday’s game is Star Wars themed; look forward to special themed entertainment. 

Houston Texans 
The Texans take on the Tennessee Titans at NRG on Sunday at noon, as they bring the 2021 season to a close. This game will be broadcast live on CBS; radio broadcast on Sports Radio 610AM, The Bull 100.3FM.
