Relaxed, fun softball
Ari Staller and Lexi Cohen (pictured, from left) enjoyed their first season playing fall ball with the West University Softball Association (WUSA). The Condit Elementary School third graders are experienced spring-season softball players and decided to expand their experience. Coached by Mike Kruger, Reid Wade, Amiri Hutchison, and Girish Gidwani, the 8U Eclipse team joined girls from several different elementary schools who don’t normally play together. WUSA fall ball is more relaxed than the traditional spring season, and the players do not have to go through a tryout process or keep score during the fun games. The end-of-season tournament was a great way to wrap up the season. In addition to playing games, the Eclipse girls loved their time in the dugout, cheering and rooting on their teammates.
