Police-academy graduates
Bellaire Police Department graduated its inaugural class of the Bellaire Citizen’s Police Academy. The Academy is a free, 8-week community-oriented police program created for the citizens of Bellaire and others who work in the Bellaire area, aimed at introducing participants to all aspects of law enforcement. Students met the men and women of the BPD, learned how the police department operates, and had the opportunity to voice their thoughts to police officers.
