Opening Reception for Art of Paper - a collective exhibition

“Art of Paper,” an exciting collective exhibition, presents a roster of esteemed artists united by one simple medium universally known – paper, and its varying forms. Alongside international and national artists such as Zhuang Hong Yi, Anna Kruhelska, Gary Komarin, and more, we are pleased to debut works by our newest artists Kandis Susol and Stef Ross.

Whether gestural or structured, calculated or organic, each of the featured artists' work highlights the eternal repetition of small elements combined to create a moment greater than themselves. Sequenced architectural wall reliefs, encaustic sculptures, ever-shifting floral patterns, and hyper-sized sculptures of everyday print objects - just a few of the ways in which artists continue to expand on the medium's creative potential and inspire all who view their work. Together, this dynamic group reiterates the notion that humans around the world are connected in more ways than one - even by the simplest of objects.
