Abbey, age 2

Hello, my name is Abbey and I am a dachshund. I was named after my mother’s hometown, Abbeville, Louisiana. I recently celebrated my second birthday on October 29th.  I like to wag my tail excessively and give licks when greeting visitors. My favorite pastime is hunting lizards in my backyard, and I have become really good at it. I also like to chase squirrels, possums, and other critters out of my backyard. I have a dog best friend named Chloe. She is a shih tzu mix and we like to chase each other around the yard. We spend a lot of time outdoors and protect our humans from passing strangers by showing our displeasure with our not-so-vicious barks. You might spot us walking around the Bellaire area side-by-side with our humans.
