Christopher Martin Gallery presents Polish born artist Kinga Czerska

Christopher Martin Gallery is launching the first solo Houston exhibition for Kinga Czerska, whose Colorado studio is located just outside of Aspen in the artistic community of Basalt. While the show will feature a collection of her acrylic on wood panels, Czerska’s 25-year career also includes pieces in mediums ranging from ceramics and wood sculpture to textiles. She sees her paintings evoking a peacefulness and stillness, taking viewers momentarily to a meditative, calm state – an escape that is so important in the bustle of the everyday.

The exhibit is open Nov. 17-Dec. 10 with an evening preview on Thursday, Nov. 17, 6-9 p.m.
