100 years of Charity Guild
The Charity Guild of Catholic Women celebrated its 100th anniversary at a centennial ball at the ballroom at Bayou Place. Elizabeth Jordan, Charity Guild president, welcomed special guest His Eminence Daniel Cardinal DiNardo to the event. The year of celebration dedicated to the milestone anniversary concluded with a Mass of Thanksgiving at The Church of the Annunciation, the parish where the mission began. With 600 members strong, the Guild looks forward to serving the children of Houston for the next 100 years.
