Rex, age 12

Everyone calls me Rex, but my full name is Captain Rex Flower. That’s because my human siblings could not agree on a name – so everyone got to choose one! I’m 12 years old but I’m still going strong. On most school mornings, you can find me walking my sister to Rummel Creek Elementary. It’s one of my favorite times of the day. Well, it’s either that or when I get to curl up in my bed and look out the window for the rest of the day. My dad works from home and I’m his loyal assistant. I’ve only got three legs, but you would never know it. I can jump high, run fast, chase all the squirrels away, and do all the things a dog should do. I’ve never met a lap or a blanket I didn’t immediately love.
