The Beat Goes On, Presented by Fields Companies Benefitting The American Heart Association

The Beat Goes On – a tribute concert at White Oak Music Hall honoring the late Michael Carroll – a prominent Houstonian whose life was tragically cut short from a rare congenital heart disorder. As underwriter for the night’s performances, the Fields Cos. is ensuring that 100% of the proceeds go directly to the American Heart Association, the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. Featuring the sultry vocal stylings of Charlie Mars – the Mississippi-born country- and folk- inflected pop artist blessed with a warm croon and a knack for crafting poignant, earthy songs – and headlined by legendary live performer Grace Potter, The Beat Goes On will take place during February Heart Month.
