Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry

One of the country’s premier culinary event series for a cause, Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry, will return to Houston on Monday, April 16, 2023. New this year, the event will be held outdoors at The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park and welcomes kids of all ages. Attendees will enjoy exceptional eats, curated drinks and delectable desserts crafted by Houston’s top celebrated chefs and mixologists all united to support No Kid Hungry’s work to end childhood hunger in Texas and across the country. In addition to the culinary talents, the afternoon will include live entertainment, interactive activities and games. 

Guests can enjoy unlimited tastes of the most sought-after culinary creations from Houston’s top chefs and tastemakers as well as renowned No Kid Hungry chef supporters from across the country. Featured Houston-area chefs in attendance include: 

  • Chefs Ryan Pera, Rebecca Masson, Justin Yu, and Evelyn Garcia
  • Mixologists Alba Huerta and Patrick Abalos 
  • Pitmasters Leonard Botello IV, Brett Jackson, and Blue Broussard 

Participating restaurants include: Phat Eatery, Jun, State of Grace, Bludorn, Riel and many more.

Guest chefs include: Chris Ford, Butter Love & Hardwork in Los Angeles, CA and Jake Wood, Lawrence Barbecue of Raleigh, NC.
