Harley, age 14

Hi there! My name is Harley. You may recognize me as the 2009 Bunker Hill Elementary auction puppy, or as the vigilante of the neighborhood. I’m always on the watch for intruders or suspicious creatures on the fence in the backyard. Don’t let my size or lack of teeth fool you, I’m the toughest there is. A while back, I injured my spine, leaving my back legs paralyzed for weeks, but I healed in no time. I’m a big fan of lying on the hot driveway, eating midnight waffles, and exploring new places. The greatest spot I’ve discovered is the beach. I love the strong winds, salty air, and unfenced land. Running the house for 14 years has made me tired, but someone has to keep everyone in line. My old age has made me more vocal – who’s got the time to sit around and wait for people to guess what I want?
