6th Annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade and Costume Contest
Levy Park hosts their 6th annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade and Costume Contest presented by H-E-B! The event, set to take place Sunday, Oct. 29 from 4-6 p.m., will kick off with a pup parade around the park followed by a costume contest where contestants will strut the “runway” for the chance to win pup-tastic prizes. Kids in costume will also have an opportunity to walk the catwalk, and a photo backdrop will be set up for self-service family photos.
The costume contest has three new categories to pick from: Spooky Season (anything fall or Halloween related), From the Screen (any character or theme from TV or movies), and Best Ensemble (must include three or more people and/or dogs in coordinating costumes).
Registration for the costume contest is recommended as space is limited, it is free to participate. To register for free, complete this form. Walk-ups will be accepted until 3:45 p.m. or when full.
Free parking is available along the north and south roads of the park. Additional parking is available on Wakeforest Avenue and Eastside Street and in the Kirby Grove parking garage (2925 Richmond) for a fee.
