Rockin’ roadrunners
The Rummel Creek Elementary (RCE) School Rockin’ Roadrunners Kayden Bell, Hannah Alleman, Molly Ebbs, Lily Baber, Elise Manuel, and Maddie Baylis (pictured, from left) rocked out for an audience including family and friends during a holiday performance at CityCentre. The music and dance troupe of RCE fifth graders entertained with a combination of dance, cartwheels, and other high-energy moves to crowd-favorites like Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off.” The Rockin’ Roadrunners meet each Tuesday after school to practice with teacher-sponsors Ashley Nicoson and Lissette Guevara. Membership in the troupe is open to RCE fifth graders of all talents and abilities and is known as a privilege and commitment for the school’s most senior students.
