TIME & SPACE: An Interstellar Journey through the Cosmos
ARTECHOUSE is Houston's new home for groundbreaking immersive art experiences featuring original works by the world's most prominent digital and multimedia artists. Located conveniently in the Heights off the M-K-T trail with 26,000 sq ft of cutting edge, interactive art, ARTECHOUSE is perfect for date nights, family outings, group visits, private parties, and corporate events.
TIME AND SPACE, on view through the end of March, offers three unique artistic experiences that reveal the mysteries of our universe through the latest in experiential storytelling:
- Beyond the Light - an Award-winning ARTECHOUSE Studio original production in collaboration with NASA. Using the latest images from the James Webb Space and Hubble Space Telescopes, “Beyond the Light” is a thrilling interstellar journey into the deepest reaches of the cosmos across 8 immersive or interactive installations.
- Eternal Life - created by ARTECHOUSE Studio in collaboration with the Nobel Prize Museum, this installation explores existence through Nobel Prize-winning works such as celestial orbits and the revolutionary CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing technology.
- Intangible Forms - Japanese multimedia artist Shohei Fujimoto employs choreographed lasers, strobes, and moving lights to explore the universal connections between living beings and their realities. Each piece from the exhibit offers you the chance to contemplate what it means to be human amid chaos and order.
Hours: Monday-Thursday from 3-10pm, Friday-Sunday from 10am-10pm
