Annie, age 4

Hi, I’m Annie! You might have seen me trying to rescue people during the snowstorm – I’m a Saint Bernard, so that’s my specialty! I’m four years old and was adopted from a rescue a year ago. I am an excellent napper and sleep for most of the day, though I love my two daily walks when I can see all my friends – human and canine. I also enjoy trips to Willow Waterhole and visiting my grandparents in Galveston. My orange kitten brother, Flap, likes to share my big bed and stand next to me when I drink out of the bathtub faucet; he thinks he is a Saint Bernard too. I don’t play with toys much, except my tug toy and tennis ball. I love dinnertime and sometimes dance and talk while my food is being prepared. I also love snacks; apples and carrots are my go-to since I’m watching my girlish, 130-pound figure.
