The Second Baptist Eagles eighth-grade girls’ basketball team finished an unforgettable season with an impressive 66-28 victory over The Awty International School, capturing the Houston Junior Preparatory Conference Championship. With an undefeated overall record of 19-0, this group of young athletes proved that a strong work ethic, unwavering commitment to excellence, and steadfast support for each other are a winning combination. The team not only claimed titles at The Kinkaid Tournament and the Joe Little Classic Tournament, but they did so with unshakable sportsmanship and determination. Each player contributed to this exceptional season by displaying extraordinary skill, leadership, and character on the court. This championship win was a direct reflection of the players’ commitment to excellence on and off the court.
