It started in preschool

Sean Folloder and Zoë Kampf (pictured) met as young students at The Shlenker School and are now engaged to be married. They crossed paths many times before falling in love, including Zoë being a preschool student in Sean’s grandmother’s preschool class at Shlenker, Zoe’s cousin having his Bar Mitzvah with Sean, and both attending Texas A&M University. Many years later, they met again at Shlenker and this turned out to be the perfect timing. Sean was helping his grandmother, Barbie Freedman, at work in her toddler class and bumped into Zoë who was working as a PreK-4 teacher. Barbie always thought the two would make a good couple and they eventually took her advice and went on a date. Three and a half years later, Sean proposed in their favorite Florida vacation spot with a beach picnic and roses in front of a beautiful sunset. They are planning a 2026 wedding in the Heights with Rabbi David Lyon officiating. Barbie was right…Zoë and Sean are “B’shert!” (meant to be).
