Make Music Day Houston, now powered by Fresh Arts, is part of the global Make Music Day movement celebrated on June 21 annually. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, Make Music Day encourages spaces of all kinds (from patios, parks, and sidewalks to storefronts and community spaces) to book free public performances with music-makers of all genres, ages, and skill levels.
