When Peyton Styles met Matthew Silva in Houston after a debutante ball in 2010, they were both juniors at The University of Texas at Austin. During the courtship, Matt took Peyton to dinner at the Hyde Park Bar and Grill, where they had their first date in Austin. He proposed afterward on a beautiful hill that overlooks UT’s campus. Their wedding, July 26, at First Presbyterian Church of Houston and the reception at The Junior League of Houston was all about the colors of champagne and gold. Unexpected entertainment occurred when a friend brought a Michael Jackson glove to the dance floor, and two pairs of pants were split as the groomsmen performed a “canoe dance.” They have each started graduate school at The University of Texas at Austin. The parents of the couple, Michael and Patti Silva and Jeff and Delesa Styles, are proud of their ambitious couple.
