Beer and Brass featuring ROCO Brass Quintet

The River Oaks Chamber Orchestra (ROCO) celebrates 2015 with craft beer and traditional beer hall music at its annual Beer and Brass event at St. Arnold’s brewery on Thursday, Jan. 8. The concert combines the savory selection of craft beers brewed by St. Arnold’s with a spirited performance by the ROCO Brass Quintet.

The quintet will perform a variety of selections arranged by multi-talented ROCO violist Lorento Golofeev that are perfect for your local beer hall environment, from Strauss polkas and German folk songs to pieces from opera composed around a drinking theme. ROCO strings and percussion will add to the revelry on many of the pieces performed.
 

Open taps and catered food are included with the price of admission to the concert. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to attend the event. Seating is limited so tickets must be purchased prior to the event.
