Trying triathlons

Frostwood Elementary fifth graders (pictured, from left) Zac Bassett, Sebastian Keener, Archie Martin and Trey Engvall successfully completed the 2014 Captain Kids Triathlon at Galveston Island’s Moody Gardens. The four families spent the night in Galveston to be ready bright and early Sunday morning. The boys say they enjoyed the event, although the swim, which took place in Moody Gardens’ lazy river, was difficult. This was Archie’s second triathlon and the other boys’ first time; they say they are excited to do more triathlons in the future and even got their moms motivated to try one themselves soon.
